Open Reach Desktop on your Mac, then scan the QR code it shows with your iPhone or iPad. On the same Wi-Fi you are connected in seconds. To reach your Mac when you are away from home, turn on Anywhere (Pro).
Grant Screen Recording to Reach Desktop on the Mac (System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording), then quit and reopen the app. For control, also grant Accessibility.
Tap the speaker button on the phone to turn Sound on, and allow microphone access on the Mac when prompted (the app uses it to capture your Mac's audio). Some streaming apps block their audio from being captured.
Anywhere works over your own private relay (one-command setup), with Tailscale as a fallback. On your home Wi-Fi, use the free Home mode, which needs no relay at all.
Something still off? In the app, tap Send Diagnostics. You will get a short code. Email us that code and we can see exactly what your device saw, with no screenshots of your screen and no back-and-forth guessing.
